This role focuses on providing essential functional support for SAP FICO processes within enterprise technology. You will be instrumental in driving functional excellence and supporting innovation across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. This position requires strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring seamless business operations and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with business users and technical teams to analyze, configure, and maintain critical finance and controlling functionalities. Your contributions will be vital in supporting month-end close activities, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with best practices and audit requirements.

Provide daily functional support for SAP FICO, addressing user inquiries and system issues in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests related to FI and CO modules. Support the configuration and upkeep of core financial processes including GL, AP, AR, AA, and PCA. Aid in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for accurate financial reporting. Assist with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. Gather and document business requirements for enhancements and process improvements. Prepare functional specifications for developments and coordinate with technical teams for implementation. Participate in testing phases like SIT and UAT, managing defects effectively. Support master data maintenance and migration activities. Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials. Ensure adherence to finance controls, policies, and SAP best practices. Collaborate with MM, SD, and other teams for integrated business processes.

A minimum of 2-4 years of direct SAP FICO experience is essential, covering implementation, enhancements, or production support. A solid understanding of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) business processes is required. Proficiency in key FICO sub-modules like GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, and CO-PA is necessary. Experience supporting financial closing, reconciliation, reporting, and audit processes is crucial. Demonstrated hands-on experience in incident management, production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution is expected. Familiarity with SAP integration with MM and SD modules is important. Exposure to SAP configuration, testing, change requests, and enhancement support is beneficial. Knowledge of ServiceNow or Jira ticketing tools is desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are key.
