The opportunity is for an Analyst in National Forensics, focusing on Investigations & Compliance within the ASU team in Mumbai. This role is part of the National segment, comprising sector-agnostic teams working across diverse industries for comprehensive experience. The Forensics & Integrity Services team helps organizations protect and restore their reputation, assisting companies and legal counsel in investigations, dispute resolution, and managing regulatory challenges. We embed integrity into compliance programs to mitigate ethical and reputational risks, employing an integrated approach from enhancing perceived weaknesses to full organizational design.

Assist in forensic investigations, including data analytics, due-diligence, and background checks on specific targets (individuals/entities). Perform structured transaction testing using MS Excel techniques and aid in risk-based assessment projects. Apply forensic methodologies to evaluate financial, operational, or compliance-related risks, delivering precise, audit-ready outputs aligned with investigation standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide hands-on support for investigation workflows, encompassing data collection, analysis, and preparation of case materials. Utilize structured consulting approaches to assess issues, identify anomalies, and accurately document findings. This role demands proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with strong communication and presentation skills. A people-friendly and team-oriented approach is essential. Prior experience in Internal Audit or Statutory Audit from a Big 4 or mid-sized audit firm is preferred.

To excel in this role, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (M.Com), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Analysis is essential.
