This role as an Analyst within the National Forensics team in Gurgaon is part of the Investigations & Compliance division. This sector-agnostic team collaborates across various industries, providing a comprehensive professional experience. Forensic & Integrity Services professionals at EY are crucial in safeguarding and restoring organizational reputations by assisting clients and legal counsel in investigations, dispute resolution, and managing regulatory challenges. We embed integrity into compliance programs to mitigate ethical and reputational risks.

Your responsibilities will center on technical excellence within forensic accounting and investigations. This includes developing a strong understanding of forensic audit, investigation, and compliance review processes. You will be expected to analyze operational data, transaction records, and supporting evidence to pinpoint anomalies and control weaknesses. A working knowledge of internal audit procedures, compliance frameworks, and risk-based issue identification is essential. The role involves preparing well-structured reports, maintaining case documentation, and summarizing investigation findings. You will also apply foundational consulting capabilities to support audit and compliance engagements within a dynamic forensic environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), with Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) also being beneficial. While this is an entry-level position (fresher), prior experience in audit of less than one year is considered. We seek individuals who can collaborate effectively across client departments, adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
