This role is part of the National Forensics team, focusing on Investigations & Compliance within the ASU (Assurance Services Unit).

The ASU Forensics team safeguards and restores enterprise and financial reputations by assisting organizations in investigating facts, resolving disputes, and managing regulatory challenges. We help build stakeholder trust through ethical practices and robust compliance programs, mitigating reputational and ethical risks. Our integrated approach enhances governance, controls, and data insights, supporting companies in protecting and restoring their financial and brand image.

Responsibilities

Examine financial documents to detect fraudulent activities and prepare comprehensive findings reports. Investigate complex financial transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Conduct audits of financial transactions and account details. Interview relevant individuals to gather critical information and context. Collaborate closely with legal teams for court proceedings and expert testimony. Develop and implement effective forensic audit programs and control systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing techniques, legal changes, and best practices. Uphold ethical standards and ensure the protection of sensitive information. Maintain meticulous records in system and Excel, validating information and documents as per client guidelines. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication in English, possessing an analytical mindset and a target-oriented approach.

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals with 0-1 years of experience, open to recent graduates or postgraduates. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to collaborate effectively across client departments while adhering to commercial and legal mandates. A practical approach to problem-solving, delivering insightful and actionable solutions, is essential.
