As an Analyst in Financial Spreading, you will play a crucial role within Deloitte's Strategy, Risk & Transaction services, contributing to a comprehensive range of risk management solutions from strategic oversight to cyber defense.
This position offers a deep dive into regulatory and financial risk, supporting critical assessment and analysis functions. You'll work with corporate clients, contributing to sound financial decision-making and robust risk frameworks.
Execute thorough credit assessments for corporate clients, including in-depth financial analysis, business evaluation, and peer benchmarking. Develop essential underwriting documents such as credit notes, renewal proposals, and new-to-bank requests, integrating borrower financials, sector insights, and internal risk standards. Provide crucial support for financial spreading, data verification, and document checks, addressing portfolio-related inquiries. Collaborate with Legal and Operations teams to guarantee facility and security documentation aligns precisely with approved terms. Proactively monitor portfolio health through covenant tracking, exposure reviews, and early warning indicators, escalating any deviations promptly. Maintain seamless communication across business, risk, and support functions to ensure efficient and controlled credit execution.
A minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience is required in corporate credit analysis. Demonstrated expertise in advanced financial analysis, credit ratios, cash-flow evaluation, and lending structures is essential. Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and data validation is expected. Solid understanding of credit policy interpretation, documentation governance, and control mechanisms is necessary. While not strictly mandatory, a postgraduate degree or professional qualification such as CA, CFA, or FRM is highly preferred. Possess a strong foundation in credit analysis principles, financial ratios, corporate finance, and banking products. Exhibit deep familiarity with credit controls, documentation standards, governance protocols, and audit-focused processes.
