Join Deloitte's SRT Sustainability team as an Assistant Manager, contributing to impactful social impact assessments, due diligence, and lender advisory services across various sectors. This role focuses on collecting baseline data, engaging with stakeholders, assessing social risks, and ensuring compliance with international standards and national regulations.

Key responsibilities include leading and supporting social baseline studies with primary surveys and stakeholder consultations. You will contribute to Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and execute Environmental & Social Due Diligence (ESDD) for lenders and investors. A critical part of the role involves conducting gap assessments against IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguards, and World Bank Group EHS Guidelines, specifically evaluating land acquisition, resettlement, and community health & safety.

Further duties involve supporting lender's advisory mandates through monitoring and compliance audits, assisting in impact investing evaluations and ESG screening, and reviewing social regulations and compliance requirements. You will prepare high-quality reports and presentations, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to proposal development and business support.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Development Studies, Anthropology, or a related field, coupled with 2-4 years of experience in social impact, ESIA/ESDD, or sustainability consulting. A strong understanding of social baseline survey methodologies, stakeholder engagement, IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguards, and EHS Guidelines is essential.

Experience with lender-funded projects, DFIs, or impact investing assignments is preferred, alongside knowledge of social regulations and land acquisition frameworks. Excellent analytical, writing, and stakeholder management skills are required. The role necessitates a willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork and site assessments.
