This role is part of the National Assurance team, specializing in Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS).

The Assurance team inspires confidence and trust in a complex world by serving the public interest, promoting transparency, and supporting economic growth. We assist clients with external audits, financial accounting advisory services, IFRS & US GAAP conversions, IPOs, and corporate treasury accounting.

Deliver high-quality work on assigned tasks according to SRB methodology and team expectations. Develop a foundational understanding of industries and be aware of technical audit risks. Execute and document specific review procedures as directed by engagement teams.

Build knowledge of risk management, including understanding significant business processes and relevant regulations. Identify accounting issues promptly, document findings, and discuss them with senior team members. Collaborate with seniors and team members to set goals and responsibilities. Maintain productive working relationships with engagement teams and contribute ideas for improving review procedure efficiency across clients.

We are seeking individuals with a B.Com, M.Com, or BAF degree, demonstrating a strong grasp of accounting and audit concepts. Possess good written and oral communication skills, along with robust logical and reasoning abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook is essential. A keen interest in business and commerciality, along with strong teamwork, multitasking, and flexibility under pressure, are key attributes. A commitment to continuous learning and proactive implementation of new processes is also highly valued.
