As an integral part of the team, you will ensure our products and services continuously meet regulatory and internal policy standards. This requires adept navigation of internal and external relationships with an action-oriented approach.
You will possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for maintaining licenses, particularly concerning Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/CFT, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002 (PMLA), financial investigations, and reporting of suspicious transactions. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, reporting, and managing associated risks.
Key duties involve assisting with oversight of legal and contractual obligations for Payments Compliance in India, ensuring policies and procedures are effective and current, and overseeing merchant onboarding and transaction monitoring programs. You will also be responsible for end-to-end reporting and handling transaction monitoring escalation reviews and SAR filings.
Act as a change agent by leading control initiatives with partners in Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Product Management.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigations, auditing, legal, or consulting. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Essential experience includes Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding checks and due diligence, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) filing.
Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance with a specialization in KYC/AML monitoring. Experience organizing data and applying business context to enhance processes is valuable.
