As a Supervising Associate within EY's ES Finance team, you'll be integral to the Global Alliances & Ecosystem Finance operations. You will collaborate closely with the GDS Alliances Finance Budget Manager, contributing to the Ecosystem Relationship Enablement function. Your role will involve managing financial transactions, project support, and budget oversight, utilizing EY's worldwide financial systems.
Key responsibilities include supporting annual financial planning, expense analysis, and forecasting. You will manage budget reallocations, track actuals against budgets, and prepare weekly budget dashboard summaries. Year-end accrual management ensures optimal budget utilization. Engagement code management, annual fee tracking, and GDS budget analysis, including headcount and chargeback reconciliation, are critical.
Additional duties involve managing GDS invoice records, assisting with periodic invoicing, and reviewing/reconciling invoices for discrepancies. You will also track GTM invoices, analyze budget allocations, and coordinate with teams for data collection. Investment data reconciliation for quarterly reporting and ad-hoc analysis for projects are also part of the role. Driving process improvement and standardization through documentation and best practices is essential.
We seek a Graduate or Post-graduate degree in Commerce or Finance, complemented by over 8 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced global setting, with a proven ability to execute complex transactions independently. Advanced accounting principles knowledge and experience in GL accounting within BPO F&A are preferred, along with exposure to budget preparation and maintenance.
Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory, with MS Access and Power BI as added advantages. Experience with Finance systems, ideally SAP, is required. Strong English communication skills, a fast-learning aptitude, and the ability to work independently with high accuracy and quality are essential. Experience interacting with geographically dispersed professionals, reporting, business research, data interpretation, and project management concepts are highly desirable.
