Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Risk Management Services (RMS) Innovation Risk function as an Assistant Director/Manager. This role supports AI Risk and Governance workstreams, translating policy and regulatory expectations into practical governance activities for the responsible use of AI.

You will be instrumental in ensuring AI tools and systems are used, purchased, developed, deployed, and monitored ethically. The position requires strong analytical judgment, dependable execution, and effective collaboration within a global framework.

Work closely with EY Technology, Service Lines, Global Functions, and Regions, operating under the workstream lead. Take ownership of defined activities and manage escalations for material risks and blockers.

Spearhead AI Risk and Governance workstreams, meticulously tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.

Coordinate essential cross-functional reviews with Global Risk Management, Service Lines, EY Technology, Global Functions, Regions, and support teams like Legal, Data Protection, Information Security, and Procurement.

Develop, review, and maintain crucial governance documents, including guidance, control requirements, templates, and action trackers.

Facilitate the practical implementation of new AI guidance and controls, supporting broad adoption across EY.

Manage activities across the AI governance lifecycle, from intake and risk assessment to post-deployment monitoring and validation.

Prepare comprehensive materials for AI governance forums and leadership reporting, including status updates, metrics, and meeting notes.

Possess a post-graduate degree or equivalent professional qualification in risk management, governance, compliance, technology, information systems, business, or a related field.

Demonstrate approximately 10 years of relevant experience in risk management, governance, compliance, technology risk, or Responsible AI.

Preferred experience includes AI, data, privacy, or emerging technology regulation and responsible innovation practices.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Risk Management teams, technical subject-matter experts, and cross-geography stakeholders.

Strong proficiency in drafting, research, communication, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
