Join EY's Information Security team as an Associate Director leading AI Engineering. This pivotal role spearheads the application of AI and automation within a global technology program, focusing on reporting to senior leadership and establishing AI technical standards. You will guide various teams on integrating AI into services and processes, ensuring consistent and safe adoption.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering position with influence across the program. You will be instrumental in running and building AI agents using Claude, Python, Power Automate, and the Microsoft platform, determining task allocation to agents and managing human oversight for AI-generated output.

Key responsibilities include designing and operating AI agents for program reporting using Claude, integrated with enterprise systems. You will own the AI and automation roadmap, prioritizing efforts based on efficiency gains and risk reduction.

Further duties involve guiding Technology Assurance, Risk, and Policy teams on AI application, establishing secure AI adoption practices, and defining AI output verification processes. This includes setting standards for AI use, prompt engineering, testing, and data handling, while advising leadership on AI's suitability and implications.

We seek individuals with a minimum of 10 years in software, automation, or data engineering, including significant senior individual contributor experience. Proven expertise in building production AI solutions with Claude, Claude Code, and the Agent SDK is essential, alongside experience in designing end-to-end agentic workflows.

Proficiency in Python for document and data automation (e.g., python-pptx, pandas), and experience with the Microsoft platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio) are required. You must demonstrate experience with enterprise workflow automation platforms like Power Automate, and a track record of automating recurring processes end-to-end. Experience with unattended systems, large dataset reconciliation, and setting technical standards is also crucial. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is necessary.
