As a dedicated people manager, you will oversee a team of individual contributors, taking charge of hiring, setting clear performance expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering career development within a high-trust environment. You will ensure your team can perform at their best.
Take ownership of the daily execution of a segment of the engineering roadmap, collaborating closely with GCS teams. This involves managing project timelines, resolving technical roadblocks, and ensuring the timely completion of your team's projects.
Serve as the primary technical mentor for your team, leading design reviews, participating in code reviews, and upholding rigorous standards for engineering excellence.
Collaborate effectively with other engineering managers, product managers, and gAP Delivery teams to ensure your team's contributions are strategically aligned with the overall goals of the organization.
We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience with client-side web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP.
Demonstrate 8 years of coding proficiency in at least one programming language, including Java, C/C++, or Python.
Have prior experience in technical leadership, including guiding business transformation initiatives.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, along with experience as a people manager for software engineering or technical solutions teams. Familiarity with the ad-tech industry and leading teams through the entire software development lifecycle is also beneficial. Expertise in building scalable systems, APIs, or data pipelines, coupled with strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills, are highly valued.
