As an Associate, your primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality work according to EY's global methodology and client expectations. You will execute and document specific review procedures, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific technical issues and assurance risks. Building knowledge in risk management, including client business processes and regulations, is key. You will be expected to identify accounting issues, document findings clearly, and collaborate with senior team members and global engagement teams. Contributing ideas for procedural improvements and promoting EY’s ethical standards, including data confidentiality, are also core aspects of this role. Developing proficiency with EY's technology and tools to enhance service delivery and share knowledge is encouraged.

To qualify for this role, candidates should be B.Com graduates with a basic understanding of accounting and assurance concepts. The position requires 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in basic accounting. Essential skills include strong interpersonal abilities, good written and oral communication, robust logical and reasoning skills, and the capacity to be a team player who can multitask, remain flexible, and perform under pressure. A commitment to continuous learning and proactive implementation of new processes is highly valued. Ideally, candidates will possess basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office, along with a keen interest in business and commercial matters.
