As an Associate in our EY-Assurance Team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality work by executing routine substantive and controls-based procedures. You'll develop an understanding of industry-specific risks and technical issues, executing and documenting review procedures as defined by engagement teams. Key responsibilities include building knowledge of risk management, identifying accounting issues, documenting findings, and collaborating with GDS seniors and global team members to set goals. You'll foster productive relationships with global engagement teams, contribute ideas for procedural improvements, and uphold EY's ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality. Continuous learning and the effective use of EY technology and tools are essential for enhancing service delivery.

We are seeking individuals with a foundational understanding of accounting and assurance concepts. To qualify for this role, you should be a B.Com graduate with 0-1 years of relevant experience in basic accounting. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, along with robust logical and reasoning abilities. You should be a proactive team player, capable of multitasking, demonstrating flexibility, and performing effectively under pressure. A commitment to continuous learning and the ability to proactively implement new processes are highly valued. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office is preferred, as is a keen interest in business and commerciality.
