As a Senior Associate in EY's Assurance team, you will serve as the primary point of contact from GDS for tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams. You will be accountable for the timely and quality delivery of engagements, while also managing day-to-day operations.

Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables aligned with EY GAM and global team expectations. Demonstrate a strong understanding of GAM, perform reviews of GDS staff procedures, and utilize EY tools for efficient reviews. Cultivate productive relationships with global EY counterparts. Embed EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into team workflows.

Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor performance against standards, including team utilization and budget-to-actuals. Communicate with professionalism and clarity to GDS and global teams. Establish clear expectations for value delivery and identify opportunities to enhance GDS scope. Standardize review processes and leverage best practices across engagements. Motivate and coach GDS team members, fostering talent and conducting performance reviews. Oversee operational matters and lead by example.

We seek candidates with strong technical knowledge, including the ability to interpret reviews and accounting standards, coupled with excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. A freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 0-1 year of experience in Assurance is required. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is preferred, along with a keen interest in business and commerciality.
