This role within the EY-Assurance Team places you as a primary point of contact from GDS for tasks delegated by global client-serving assurance teams. You will be accountable for the quality and timeliness of deliverables while managing the day-to-day operations of client engagements.

Lead engagements from the GDS perspective, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with EY GAM and global team expectations. Perform reviews of GDS staff procedures, demonstrating a strong grasp of GAM and utilizing EY tools for enhanced efficiency. Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with key EY Global counterparts, including Assurance executives in the Americas or Europe. Integrate EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into engagement team workflows. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor team performance against standards, overseeing utilization and budget adherence. Communicate with professionalism and clarity to both GDS and Global teams. Establish clear expectations for value delivery to aligned GDS Global teams. Identify opportunities to expand the scope of GDS involvement in your engagements. Standardize review processes and implement best practices across engagements. Motivate, lead, coach, and supervise GDS team members, fostering talent identification. Manage various operational aspects related to your assigned engagements. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and training, leading by example.

Candidates must be freshly qualified Chartered Accountants (ICAI). Possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in Assurance. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is expected. Demonstrate an interest in business and commerciality.
