This role within EY's Assurance team involves serving as a key point of contact for global client-serving assurance teams. You will manage daily operations for assigned engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. The opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong technical knowledge, accounting standards interpretation, project management, excellent communication, and leadership skills.

Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with EY GAM and global team expectations. Review procedures performed by GDS staff, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAM and EY tools. Cultivate productive relationships with global EY counterparts. Embed EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into team workflows. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor performance and utilization. Communicate professionally and clearly with GDS and global teams. Establish clear value delivery expectations. Identify opportunities to enhance GDS work scope and standardize review processes. Motivate, coach, and supervise GDS team members, fostering key talent. Oversee engagement operational matters, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.

Lead by example.

A qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI), ACCA, or CPA is required. A minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification experience is necessary, either within a mid-to-top-tier accounting firm focusing on external or assurance reviews, or with MNCs/larger domestic Indian companies, ideally in a Shared Service environment. Alternatively, semi-qualified professionals with 6+ years of relevant assurance work experience will be considered.

Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook is expected. An interest in business and commerciality is also beneficial.
