Join our Assurance team as a Senior Associate and become a key liaison between GDS and global client-serving assurance teams, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and effective engagement management.

As a Senior Associate, you will lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely, high-quality work aligned with EY GAM and global expectations. You'll interpret accounting standards, manage reviews of GDS staff procedures, and utilize EY tools for efficiency. Developing strong relationships with global EY counterparts, embedding Quality and Risk Management procedures, and proactively managing workflow and resources are key. You will also motivate and coach your GDS team, conduct performance reviews, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

To excel in this role, you need technical knowledge, the ability to interpret accounting standards, and strong project management, communication, and leadership skills. A Chartered Accountant (ICAI) qualification is essential, with 0-1 year of experience in Assurance. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, along with an interest in business and commerciality, are ideal. Knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards, or IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP and international review standards, is a significant advantage.
