EY's Assurance team seeks a Senior Associate to serve as the primary liaison for GDS tasks assigned by global client-serving teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the timeliness and quality of deliverables while managing day-to-day engagement operations.

Lead engagements from the GDS perspective, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery according to EY GAM and global team expectations. Demonstrate a strong understanding of GAM and EY tools for efficient reviews. Cultivate productive relationships with global EY counterparts. Embed EY's Quality and Risk Management procedures into team workflows.

Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor team performance and utilization. Maintain professional, competent, and clear communication with GDS and global teams. Identify opportunities to enhance the scope of GDS work and standardize review processes. Motivate and develop GDS team members, providing coaching and performance feedback.

Possess strong technical knowledge, including the ability to interpret accounting standards and excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards, or IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP and international review standards, is advantageous.

Essential qualifications include being a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 0-1 year of experience in Assurance. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is also required, along with a keen interest in business and commerciality. The ability to foster a positive work culture and live EY values is vital.
