We are seeking individuals with robust technical knowledge, including the ability to interpret accounting standards, strong project management capabilities, and excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Senior Associate, you will be the primary point of contact from GDS for assigned tasks, ensuring timely and quality deliverables while managing day-to-day engagement operations.

Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with EY GAM and global team expectations. Perform reviews of GDS staff procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAM and EY tools. Cultivate productive relationships with global EY counterparts. Embed EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into team workflows. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor team performance and utilization against budget. Communicate with professionalism and clarity to both GDS and global teams. Identify opportunities to enhance GDS scope and standardize review processes. Motivate, coach, and mentor GDS team members, identifying and fostering key talents. Oversee engagement operational matters and conduct timely performance reviews.

To qualify for this role, you must be a recently Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 0-1 year of experience in Assurance. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is essential. An added advantage would be knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards, or familiarity with IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP and International review standards. We are looking for individuals with commercial acumen, technical experience, and a strong enthusiasm for learning in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will possess effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills, alongside strong project management and leadership capabilities.
