This role involves serving as the primary GDS point of contact for assigned tasks from global client-serving assurance teams. You'll be accountable for the timely and high-quality delivery of work, while also managing the day-to-day operations of these engagements.

Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with EY GAM and global team expectations.

Perform reviews of GDS staff procedures, demonstrating strong GAM understanding and utilizing EY tools for efficient reviews.

Cultivate productive relationships with EY Global counterparts, particularly Assurance executives in the Americas or Europe.

Integrate EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into engagement team workflows.

Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, monitor performance against standards, and track team utilization and budget adherence.

Communicate with professionalism and clarity across GDS and Global teams.

Identify opportunities for GDS work scope enhancement and standardize review processes by leveraging best practices.

Motivate, lead, coach, and supervise GDS team members, fostering talent development.

Oversee operational aspects of assigned engagements and conduct timely performance reviews and feedback sessions.

Candidates must be freshly qualified Chartered Accountants (ICAI) with 0-1 year of relevant experience in Assurance. Strong technical knowledge, including the ability to interpret accounting standards, is essential.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication, project management, leadership, risk management, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is also required. An interest in business and commerciality is advantageous.
