Join our EY-Assurance Team as a Senior Associate, serving as the primary GDS point of contact for tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams. You will be accountable for delivering timely and high-quality results while managing day-to-day engagement operations.

Lead engagements from the GDS perspective, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables aligned with EY GAM and global team expectations. Perform reviews of GDS staff procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAM and utilizing EY tools for efficiency. Cultivate productive relationships with EY Global counterparts. Integrate EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into team workflows. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor performance against standards, including utilization and budget adherence. Communicate professionally and clearly with GDS and Global teams. Establish clear value delivery expectations for GDS Global teams. Identify opportunities to enhance GDS scope on engagements and standardize review processes, leveraging best practices. Motivate and develop GDS team members, foster talent, and provide coaching. Oversee operational aspects of aligned engagements, conduct performance reviews, and offer feedback and training, leading by example.

We seek candidates with technical acumen, including the ability to interpret reviews and accounting standards, coupled with strong project management, communication, and leadership skills. A background in Indian accounting and assurance standards, or knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and international review standards is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is essential. Ideal candidates possess strong interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills. The role requires project management, leadership, coaching, counselling, and supervisory capabilities, alongside the ability to foster a positive work culture and embody EY values. A proven ability to quickly build strong working relationships with colleagues in India and globally is key. Must be a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 0-1 year of relevant experience in Assurance.
