EY's Assurance team is seeking a Manager to serve as the primary point of contact from GDS for assigned tasks from global client-serving assurance teams. This role is responsible for the timeliness and quality of deliverables, alongside managing daily engagement operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work virtually with engagement teams across the Americas and Europe, developing expertise in international accounting and assurance principles.

Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates to ensure timely, high-quality delivery adhering to EY methodology. Develop strong relationships with engagement team counterparts, understand EY Risk Management procedures, and embed them into team workflows. Facilitate the transition of new engagements to GDS Assurance while maintaining service quality. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, monitor performance, and track utilization and budget against actuals. Demonstrate professionalism, competence, and clear communication with GDS and engagement teams. Identify opportunities to enhance GDS Assurance scope, standardize processes, and leverage best practices. Foster team growth through delegation, performance feedback, training, and active participation in organizational initiatives.

To excel in this role, you must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience, or a Qualified ACCA/CPA with 7-8 years of post-qualification experience. Articleship with a top or mid-tier accounting firm is essential. Prior experience in a mid- or top-tier accounting firm focused on external or assurance reviews, or within an MNC or larger Indian company, preferably in a Shared Service environment, is highly valued. Experience with Big 4 firms (Indian & Global practice) is also advantageous. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is required.
