EY's Assurance team seeks a Manager to serve as the primary GDS liaison for tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, timely work and managing daily engagement operations. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with engagement teams across the Americas and Europe, deepening your understanding of international accounting and assurance principles.

As an Assurance Manager, you will lead a team, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of work according to EY methodology. You will foster strong relationships with engagement counterparts, embed EY's risk management procedures, and facilitate the smooth transition of new engagements to GDS Assurance. Proactive workflow management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring are key. You will also drive process standardization, leverage best practices, and actively contribute to team growth through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews. Engagement in organizational initiatives like recruitment and training is also expected.

We are looking for qualified accountants with a minimum of 5-6 years of post-qualification experience, holding a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) qualification. Alternatively, candidates with an ACCA or CPA designation and 7-8 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Experience gained through articleship at top or mid-tier accounting firms is essential. Prior experience within a mid-or top-tier accounting firm focusing on external reviews or assurance matters, or within an MNC or larger Indian company, particularly in a Shared Service Environment, is highly valued. Familiarity with Big 4 firm practices, both Indian and global, is advantageous.
