Key responsibilities encompass presales solutioning for ADAS, defining and implementing comprehensive ADAS system architectures. This includes integrating various sensors like radar, lidar, cameras, and IMUs, alongside developing advanced perception algorithms for object detection and environmental mapping.
You will design modular and scalable software architectures for ECU platforms, middleware, and communication interfaces, optimizing for real-time embedded processing. Managing sensor and hardware calibration, ensuring alignment with ASIL requirements through liaison with functional safety experts, and collaborating with OEMs and suppliers on technical specifications are also core duties.
Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, provide technical leadership, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in the automotive sector, with a strong focus on designing, developing, and integrating advanced ADAS solutions for next-generation vehicles. A proven track record of project success and demonstrated P&L contribution to sales is essential.
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, with a Master's degree being strongly preferred. Key qualifications include extensive experience with various sensors (radar, lidar, cameras), advanced perception algorithms, decision-making, and control algorithms. Expertise in developing scalable software architectures and robust hardware solutions for sensor fusion is crucial.
Familiarity with Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety (ISO-26262) is expected. Outstanding customer orientation, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills are vital. You should possess strong judgment, collaboration, and executive presence, with an entrepreneurial spirit and superb leadership capabilities.
