As a Staff ACOE, you will be instrumental in end-to-end audit support and financial statement preparation. This includes drafting notes to accounts, calculating current and deferred taxes, and managing ad-hoc deliverables with precision and discipline. Key duties involve preparing financial statements, supporting audits by gathering evidence, managing sample collections, and ensuring smooth stat audit processes with minimal discrepancies. You will act as a primary contact for country controllers and auditors, manage tax calculations, and perform EY SAWT administration. Adherence to compliance calendars and timely escalation of issues are critical for success.

This role requires a Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA) with 0-3 years of post-qualification experience. Essential skills include a strong understanding of statutory audit, financial statement preparation, and flux analysis, coupled with excellent communication for technical accounting discussions. Proficiency in Excel and Word, alongside hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP, is vital. You should possess strong client and stakeholder management abilities, a self-motivated attitude, and a results-oriented approach. A solid grasp of Indian Accounting Standards and basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxes are necessary, with exposure to IFRS and US GAAP being advantageous.
