Contribute to making Google's Payments products accessible to everyone as a passionate Accessibility Analyst. Ensure our products are usable by individuals of all abilities across all platforms, championing inclusive design throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves leading rigorous testing, including bug triage, feature launch reviews, and comprehensive product auditing for Google Pay India's consumer and merchant experiences.

You will serve as a key advocate for users with disabilities, ensuring new features are built accessibly from the outset. Furthermore, you'll pioneer and scale advanced, AI-augmented solutions to enhance testing velocity and resolution efficiency. Collaboration with developers and designers is essential to guide compliance with global accessibility standards and regional laws.

Google's Payments team is dedicated to creating payment experiences that are simple, seamless, and secure, whether users are paying online, using tap and pay, or interacting with the Google Pay app. Beyond consumer payment technologies, this team also manages the financial transactions between Google, its consumers, and businesses.

Conduct thorough accessibility audits for products spanning web, Android, and iOS platforms. Prioritize and triage complex accessibility issues, determining their impact and the responsible engineering team. Provide expert consultation to Engineering and Design teams on technical implementation, focusing on areas like focus management, semantic HTML/native component usage, and selection of accessible components. Review accessibility in designs and validate annotations using tools like Figma. Pilot, develop, and scale AI-powered tools to automate accessibility triage and testing, aiming to improve issue resolution efficiency. Execute comprehensive launch reviews for new features to ensure they meet Google's accessibility standards.

Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Have at least 2 years of experience in digital accessibility, including evaluating products using assistive technologies like screen readers and automation tools. Demonstrated experience reading or debugging code in common languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java. Familiarity with web and mobile accessibility standards, including WCAG. Preferred qualifications include professional accessibility certifications (e.g., IAAP WAS, CPACC), experience with accessibility automation frameworks, leveraging generative AI for accessibility solutions, knowledge of global accessibility laws, and strong stakeholder management skills to influence technical roadmaps and consensus.
