As an ABL Firmware Engineer, your core focus will be on developing bootloader and low-level firmware solutions for ARM-based platforms. This role is central to memory initialization and successful platform bring-up, offering a challenging and rewarding experience.
Develop and debug advanced low-level firmware using C on ARM platforms. Spearhead memory initialization, DDR bring-up, and platform boot flow processes. Provide support for DDR4, DDR5, and LPDDR technologies, including critical memory training and validation. Analyze and resolve complex firmware and memory-related issues. Collaborate effectively with hardware and software teams to ensure robust platform initialization.
Possess 5-8 years of professional experience in Firmware Development or Embedded Systems. Demonstrate strong programming proficiency in C and a solid grasp of ARM architecture. Showcase hands-on experience with low-level firmware development and debugging methodologies. Familiarity with ARM TrustZone concepts is a plus. Exhibit practical experience with DDR4, DDR5, or LPDDR memory technologies. Maintain a good understanding of memory architecture, including channels, DIMMs, ranks, banks, and memory training. Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges. Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
